For the serious trail runner, road runner, and/or the wide foot, END Footwear is for you. We get the sense that this company is not just jumping on the “bandwagon”. We like them, we like their shoes. We are confident that anyone would be happy with a purchase from End Footwear.
New Balance left us disappointed, but that’s not to say that they made a cheap shoe. We just feel that they should have, and could have, done better. On one hand, it is clear that New Balance is jumping on the green bandwagon, but on the other hand, isn’t that what we want, for everyone to move towards sustainable practices, tree hugger or not? It’s a good first step; we look forward to seeing them reach their true potential for the eco-consumer.
Nice try, but like New Balance, we expect
more. We know a bit about the history of Timberland, and the founder of this company seems pretty crunchy, so, we really are disappointed but optimistically look toward the future to see what Timberland does next in the green arena.
Funky in all the right ways if you can dig it. If you understand the human body and what’s wrong with conventional shoes today, you will appreciate the Vibram FiveFingers. If you have knee problems, hip problems, and/or other joint pain after standing, running, and/or walking, you owe it to yourself to try these shoes. Or if you were one of those kids who’s mom forced you to put on your shoes before you went outside to play, only to be rid of them as soon as you were out of sight, then find your youth again with these truly ergonomic shoes. I myself will someday knock on their office door and ask them to custom make a pair for my stupid pinky toe’d wide feet.
