Monsanto Tries to Block Study

   Organic Consumers Organization reports Monsanto tried to block Austrian government funded research that showed genetically engineered (GE, GMO) corn causes infertility. Long term reproduction studies in rats revealed statistically relevant results by the fourth generation.  Litters were smaller and individual rat pups were smaller as well.
   The Italian Institute of Research on Food and Nutrition mice studies showed GM corn sold by Monsanto caused significant immune system changes and allergic and inflammatory responses.
