As part of my gratitude for that experience and my love for health and making it simple, I also became a distributor for SereniGy, which came from the words serenity, energy, and integrity. What attracted me initially to the company was the integrity of our CEO and his absolute relentless pursuit of representing only the best. I also valued the fact that it made health simple, convenient, and enjoyable for anyone and made the coffee habit a much healthier one. I'm very much a progressive when it comes to health, and I prefer to start people on a path that they can stick to rather than inundating them with something they can't do long term. I felt our product could do that.
Q. What is ganoderma and where does it originate?
A. Ganoderma, also known as Reishi or Lingzhi, is one form of a mushroom known as Ganoderma Lucidum. It originated in Asia and has been used in traditional Chinese medicine for over 4000 years. It has also been referred to as the "King of Herbs", "herb of spiritual potency," and the "mushroom of immortality".
Q. How is SereniGy's ganoderma blend different from other ganoderma?
A. There are four main things that make SereniGy's ganoderma different. 1) Purity – we have zero environmental toxins and no
heavy metals. SereniGy is also 100% certified organic by the USD
A. 2) We use a proprietary technology that allows us to extract every vital nutrient from the full spectrum of ganoderm
A. 3) We use all the different forms of the herb due to it synergistic effects. Many ganoderma products will utilize only one form. 4) We also do not use any fillers or diluents of any kind, which can occur in ganoderma products.
Q. How does ganoderma change coffee and tea?
A. Ganoderma makes coffee a much healthier habit. The most notable trait is that it neutralizes the negative effects of the acid and caffeine in the coffee, and my testing shows it raises the alkalinity by as high as 1-2 points on the ph scale. Other things to note is that it doesn't dehydrate you like regular coffee and it creates balance due to the adaptogenic properties of the herb which is something that was formerly impossible with regular caffeinated coffee.
As for tea, for those that have caffeine content, it would have the same effect. Otherwise, since tea is a generally a healthier habit, it simply adds another beneficial health component to it that can be enjoyed in a simple way.

Q. What are some other health benefits of ganoderma?
A. As a highly respected adaptogen, its magic lies in its ability to bring balance to the body and provide oxygen and nutrients to the cells, which can (be) noticed on a physical level as helping increase energy and vigor, immune system strengthening and balancing, natural detoxification, and improved sleep. It also has over 150 naturally occurring antioxidants and 200 nutrients.

testimonials on our website also speak to the various health benefits felt by our customers.
Q. Obviously, we would like SereniGy to sell only organic bird friendly coffee. While the company sells organic teas, and the ganoderma blend is organic, the coffee is conventional. Any plans to offer organic and/or bird friendly coffee?
A. Absolutely. Our first focus was making sure the ganoderma was the best in the industry. Then, we focused on having a high quality conventional coffee. We then announced in late 2010 that an organic coffee would be a part of our product line, and we expect that to be available soon. Our company is very proactive and will continue to move forward to offer fully organic products.
