State Requires Flu Vaccination for Caregivers

Mandatory Flu Vaccinations?

   You bet, if you’re a New York State Health care worker. According to The New York Times, doctors, nurses, aides, everyone who comes in contact with patients in a hospital, hospice, or through home health care is now required to be vaccinated against both seasonal flu and the H1N1 virus. Due to a technicality, nursing home health care workers are exempt.
